Die Maskenproduktion in Deutschland organisiert sich und gründet den Maskenverband Deutschland e.V.

Die Entwicklung der Coronapandemie im vergangenen Jahr hat eine neue Branche in Deutschland hervorgebracht. Zahlreiche Unternehmen haben sich das Ziel einer bundesweiten Versorgung von hochwertigen Schutzmasken zur Aufgabe gemacht.
Durch den Dialog zwischen qualifizierten Unternehmern, welche ihre Produktionen in Deutschland aus dem Boden gestampft haben, wurden sehr schnell die zukünftigen Ziele des Verbandes gesteckt.

Zur Unterstützung der Verbandstätigkeiten konnten verschiedene Materiallieferanten, Prüfgerätehersteller, Hersteller von Verpackungsmaschinen und unabhängige Sachverständige für Medizinprodukte gewonnen werden.

Gemeinsamen Ziele ist es, das Qualitätsversprechen „Made in Germany“ zu wahren und eine Versorgungssicherheit in Deutschland zu gewährleisten.

Die wesentlichen Themen des Verbandes:

  1. Planbare Versorgungssicherheit mit Masken aus Deutschland
  2. Hohe Wertschöpfungskette durch deutsche Hersteller
  3. Volle Transparenz und Compliance zwischen den Herstellern, Politik und Zivilgesellschaft
  4. Fairer Wettbewerb für deutsche Hersteller um dauerhaft die Kompetenz und die Arbeitsplätze zu erhalten
  5. Qualität, Rückverfolgbarkeit und Haftung als lokale Produzenten
  6. Entwicklung neuer Standards und Normen, auch über Corona hinaus
  7. Nachhaltigkeit in Produktion und Transport

Der Verband umfasst heute bereits ca. 30 Mitglieder und wächst weiter: “Wir denken, dass bereits ein Drittel aller Hersteller, die in Deutschland produzieren, schon im Verband organisiert sind und weitere dem Verband beitreten werden” so der Vorsitzende des Verbandes. Die Unternehmen produzieren wöchentlichen mit über 500 Mitarbeitern eine Produktionskapazität von 18 Millionen Masken.
In den nächsten Tagen werden Gespräche mit politischen Entscheidungsträgern geführt, die an der Entwicklung der med. Grundversorgung in Deutschland mitwirken.
